Since the march of 2017, at least 41 Kurdish female activists in different cities of eastern Kurdistan has been arrested by the Iranian regime intelligent agency.
According to the raport made by Hengaw, two of them have been sentenced to death.
According to the Kurdish human rights news agency Hangaw, at least 41 Kurdish female activists have been arrested, for political and religious views, by Iranian authorities since the March 2017.
“Out of them, 24 were accused of helping the Iranian Kurdish opposition, the rest of them were captured for religious beliefs”.
Two of the detainees were sentenced to death by the Iranian authorities and were both from Urmia, a city in Iran, said Hangaw.
