“On March 05, two brothers called Yedgar and Kamran Amini were severely wounded at a mine explosion in Ahmad Abad (Nannor) Village of Baneh,”

According to the source, at four o’clock in the afternoon, the two brothers were suddenly wounded in a mine explosion on heir way to the border area to carry cargo. The two injured kolbars were later taken to a hospital in Baneh due to the severity of their injuries. Unfortunately, the doctors had to amputate Kamran’s foot to save him and the health condition of other brother(Yadgar) is critical.

The source added that many border areas covered by mines lack any warning signs and this problem has resulted in many such accidents involving the residents of these areas.

Also on March 03, the body of a 60-year-old kolbar, called Khadr Abdollahi, was discovered at the Kani khoda of Piranshahr Frontiers. The kurdish kolbar who had pass cards before had been forced to walk in mountainous areas due to the closure of border crossings. During the search for Khadr Abdollahi, the local people and the aid forces discovered another body of a Kurdish citizen called Mohammad Paymzad from Mahabad, who had been trapped in the area for a visit to Kurdistan.
